Ollie and the dinosaur
13 year old Ollie from Essex has complex needs and enjoyed a short break to a Haven Caravan Park in Kent with his mum where he loved every moment
No Limits
No Limits Sports club for Children and Young People with a disability in West Lothian applied to us for help taking 48 people, members and their carers, for a 7 day activity holiday at the Bendrigg Trust in Kendal in the summer of 2025. The young people were able to try lots of different activities such as canoeing, paddle boarding, archery, indoor climbing, abseiling, cycling using adaptive bikes, caving and arts and crafts. They had a great time.
Glan-llyn Outdoor Activity Centre
On behalf of all of us, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to The Adamson Trust for your donation, which helped make our Glan-llyn Outdoor Activity Centre holiday this past weekend a truly unforgettable experience.
We were able to provide a fully inclusive holiday for 9 families, totalling 27 people. It was a weekend filled with fun, connection, and achievement for everyone involved.
We took part in a wide range of exciting and engaging activities, including:
rowing, wall climbing, swimming, raft building, canoeing, bushcraft, orienteering, archery, high ropes, and even a falconry display. Each activity was designed to encourage confidence, teamwork, and joy — and it did exactly that.
The Glan-llyn team were exceptional. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication ensured that all participants felt supported, safe, and empowered. Their thoughtful, inclusive approach made the experience accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Your donation was also instrumental in allowing us to offer a subsidised rate to a larger family of five, who otherwise may not have been able to join us. This was especially meaningful for the family, as one of the adult members typically does not leave the house without support. For us as an organisation, it was incredibly rewarding to offer her this opportunity — an experience that not only encouraged independence but also helped to build her confidence in a supportive environment.
